Ordinary Things, No Longer Ordinary

Ordinary Things, No Longer Ordinary Have you ever thought of how God uses odd folks like you and me to speak a message? He used the Angels to announce the coming of the King of Israel. He used the Shepherds, bursting with reward, to tell the story of the birth of Jesus. He used Joseph, a righteous man, to show compassion and forgiveness. And, He used Mary to show obedience and passion for God. One strange object that involves mind this time of 12 months is the Christmas tree One ordinary object that comes to mind this time of year is the Christmas tree. Its path of the needles factors to God above. The purple speaks of the blood of a Savior. The lights remind us that the Savior is the Light to the world and the green represents Life. Finally, the presents remind us of gifts, with the best present of all within the Savior to mankind. People and things may be strange, but not when God is involved. Merry Christmas!
